CDS comprises of three parts, English ,Gk and Mathematics

Your question is, how to clear exam? For the most part the answer is by studying and that too by studying smartly.

First of all we will see how to cover MATHS

As seen in previous papers, the trend says that almost 40% of maths paper is summed up with geometry and mensuration. So you need to practice this part more than any other part.
After finishing this you can move on to other topics such as trigonometry, hcf lcm ,mixture allegations etc.
The cut off of each exam lies between 15-20 marks. So by study in this way you can ensure clearing the sectional cutoff and a decent score in this subject.

Now coming to ENGLISH.

If you feel that your English is average and you are in habit of reading newspaper or any other literary material. Then this paper won't be much work for you because the level kf english paper is very average but i must say one needs to have clearity of basic grammar to score good marks. Out if the three exams this is easiest and most scoring.
Check out some last year's exam you will get an idea about the level of questions asked.

Now for GK

This is the most difficult part of cds exam and one of the main reason why students fail to clear this exam. As you may know that this exam is conducted byUPSC so you must expect the level of exam to be very high.
The question asked are not in simple format instead of it they are like below

1.they reflect a high degree of boldness and spirit of adventure on the part of the Delhi rulers.
2.the invaders returned to Delhi with untold wealth.
3.they provided fresh geographical knowledge.
4.Alauddin promoted Malik Kafur to the rank of Malik-naib or Vice-Regent of the Empire.

Select the correct answer using the codes given below

a)1 and 3
b)1, 2 and 4

Go through all the ncerts revise as much as you can.
Hope this was helpful,if any other questions you can comment.
