New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission, UPSC successfully conducted the NDA NA Exam I 2018 today across various centres in the country. The examination was conducted for admission to the 141 course in National Defence Academy and 103 courses at Naval Academy. A total of 415 candidates (360 for NDA and 55 for NA) would be shortlisted by means of the examination. Experts who have gone through the questions shared by students have analyzed the paper and suggest that the Mathematics section was tougher than previous years. As for the General Ability Test or Paper II, the experts feel that the English section was relatively easy. The examination for UPSC NDA/NA consisted of two parts. Part I was a Mathematics section which was of a total 300 marks and contained 120 question. As compared to last year, experts feel that the mathematics section was tougher. Some of the questions from trigonometry were said to be tough. Many students found questions from probability confusing. Overall, the experts feel that the cut off for mathematics section is bound to see a dip this year as compared to last year.
